Bathroom Comfort & Safety

The owners of a 40 year old home in Dartmouth were experiencing some mobility challenges while using their old bathtub. The renovation called for a new shower stall with low threshold for ease of entry. Additional safety features were added such as a corner seat, several grab bars for stability and new “pressure balanced” faucets (protecting against fluctuating water temperatures). A hand-held shower head also allows the user to sit and shower in comfort.  This particular shower was done in an Acrylic Travertine colour with a 6 x 6 simulated tile look that is groutless and easy to clean. Even with structural work on the tub area, the project was completed within 2 days.
